Another very chilly post storm day in the region, with early morning temps in the single digits. As the day progresses, temps most likely will not get out of the mid 20's, so make sure to dress warmly if you're headed to your favorite resort and check the status right here at OnTheSnow.com.
More mountain snow in the forecast for the Cascades and Sierra today and into this evening, with significant rain for areas at sea level. Snow levels will fall to 4000 feet and some in the Sierra could see another one to three feet by late tonight. Make sure to check on road and resort conditions before you head out. Highs from the mid 20's in the mountains to the mid 50's near the coast.
Portions of the storm system that pounded the West arrives in the region today, bringing with it light snow showers and freezing rain. The northern states in the region could see significant amounts of black ice on the roads and traffic controls could go into effect quickly. Highs from the mid 30's to the mid 40's.
