Go big for ‘Merica’s birthday this July and head for the high country. From the Sierras to the Green Mountains, ski towns will be throwing down for the red, white and blue. Make it your patriotic duty to get out and enjoy some live music, food, parades and thunderous firework displays fit for our Founding Fathers.

The following roundup highlights some of the biggest and brightest 4th of July celebrations across the country.
