The Colorado Flights Alliance has announced that daily flights from Phoenix-Sky Harbor International (PHX) to the Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) on American Airlines will resume this summer (June 2 - August 21). This provides guests traveling from Phoenix another daily option to compliment the existing American Airline service to/from the Telluride region: three plus daily flights to Durango-La Plata (DRO) and three plus daily flights to Grand Junction (GJT).

"We have incredibly loyal guests and homeowners in Arizona and southern California," says Bill Jensen, CEO at Telluride Ski Resort. "This new daily flight provides yet another option and more flexibility for those who live in and around Phoenix as well as those from California who rely on convenient connections to Telluride through PHX from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego."

This service expansion by American Airlines comes just months after American announced year-round daily flights between Dallas-Fort Worth (MFW) and Montrose-Telluride (MTJ). The year-round (DFW) flights as well as Summer seasonal (PHX) flights are available for reservations.
