Durango, Colo. --  Resort officials with the largest ski area collective in the Southwest announced details of the 2017/2018 Power Pass, which is now available at the lowest price of the year, with no price increase, an extended no-interest payment plan, and unlimited access to five ski resorts in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.

The season pass sale kicks off before some of the mountains are closed – with nearly 22 feet of snow falling this season at Purgatory Resort, and 326 inches of snow at Arizona Snowbowl, both resorts are scheduled to be open weekends through April 30.  Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort closed Sunday, April 9, marking the 14th consecutive season that Sipapu is the first ski area to open, and then the last to close in New Mexico.  Pajarito Mountain and Hesperus Ski Area finished out their seasons strong the last weekend of March.

The Power Pass, which is on sale now through Apr. 28, provides unlimited skiing at five mountains with no blackout dates, at Purgatory Resort, Arizona Snowbowl, Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort, Pajarito Mountain, and Hesperus Ski Area, discounted cat skiing with Purgatory Snowcat Adventures, Colorado’s largest cat skiing operation, plus free or discounted days at partner resorts throughout the U.S. and internationally.

No Price Increase for the Second Consecutive Year!

The 2017/2018 Power Pass returns at the same low price as last year.  Available now for just $649 for adults (ages 37-64), the Power Pass is offered at the lowest price of the year when purchased by April 28, 2017.  For details, visit ThePowerPass.com.

“One of our goals is to make skiing more affordable and offer a great value for our families and young skiers,” stated James Coleman, managing partner of all five resorts.  “With no price increases over the past two years, a new extended payment plan, and skiing at five different resorts in the Southwest, we believe the Power Pass offers a truly incredible deal for our guests.”

New this year!  The college requirement has been eliminated, so young adults ages 19 to 24 can take advantage of the low season pass price of $399 without having to show college credit or proof of student status.  Also new, when purchased by April 28, the Power Pass now provides 12 discounted lift tickets valid at all five mountains to share with family or friends.

Extended No-Interest Payment Plan

The popular no-interest monthly payment plan that was introduced last year has been extended again this year through Jan. 30, 2018.  When purchased by Apr. 28, guests receive the lowest guaranteed price and can pay off their Power Pass with 11 monthly installments, each payment costs less than the price of a lift ticket at Purgatory or Snowbowl.
