Now that the days are longer, Arizona Snowbowl brings back the Friday Nights Family Sunset Ski and Party to make your ski days longer and more fun.

The Sunset and Hart Prairie lifts will remain open until 6 p.m. on Fridays. The Sunset Terrain Park also will be open with Freestyle Fridays, where Ski & Ride School instructors and Terrain Park personnel will be giving helpful advice at many of the features.

Snowbowl will slash ticket prices to $10 and rental skis and snowboards also will be $10 at 2 p.m. The Ski & Ride School will have two-hour group lessons for $10. Selected food items will be 50 percent off in the Hart Prairie Lodge. Season pass holders and people who have spent the day on the slopes do not need to purchase an additional lift ticket.

"We did this event last season and it was a huge success and a lot of fun. With daylight lasting until near 7 p.m., it is a great opportunity to stay open a bit later and give the families some time to enjoy the slopes together at a very affordable price," says Snowbowl's Marketing Director, Dave Smith.
