Over 2,500 pounds of chocolate (5.8 million calories) is on display in the form of a massive chocolate mountain, a working chocolate gondola, a cascading chocolate waterfall, hand-blown sugar ornaments and a six-foot white chocolate Christmas tree. It took Archibald ten months to create the chocolate masterpiece. The pieces are preserved and displayed every December, with one new piece unveiled. Archibald also does designs and sculptures for groups, weddings and other functions. Keystone will be all aglow on New Year's Eve. The torchlight parade and fireworks will be at River Run Village. Comedy magician Mac King will perform at the Keystone Conference Center. For the kids, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company will perform (with actors and puppets) Ridyard Kipling's Rikki Tikki Tavi at 5:30. For details, cal 970-496-4253 or 800-468-5004.
