Mountain Festival Returns To Jackson Hole March 27-29
A good snow year sets up Jackson Hole for its fourth annual Jackson Hole Mountain Festival.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort plans a fourth reprise of their successful Jackson Hole Mountain Festival Mar. 27-29. The festival shortens this year from a week to a long weekend, but promises to still pack out with entertainment.
The festival weekend includes on-mountain events, live music, a mechanical bull rodeo, and specials. A free concert Saturday night gets the party romping when the Los Angeles-based Ozomatli plays their urban-Latino rhythms to fire up the crowd.
Jackson's snow conditions this year should keep the slopes in prime shape for the weekend. The resort has been well on its way to amassing its average 429 inches of snowfall with over 360 inches of snow falling before the end of February. The new tram will also be running for the weekend.
Jackson Hole Resort Lodging is offering a Jackson Hole Mountain Festival Package starting at $99 per person, per night. The package includes two nights' lodging in a one-bedroom condominium and two-day lift tickets. The offer, which is based on double occupancy, is valid for stays March 27-29.
