Storms brought a refresh of powder to many California ski resorts this past weekend. So much snow fell that three Tahoe resorts sailed past the 300-inch mark for the season. The mounting snowpack has put the resorts on the rebound. Ski resorts in California and Nevada’s Tahoe have surpassed snowpack depths from last January. By the end of January 2016, many resorts in the region blew by last winter’s total snowfall for the entire season. In fact, some are seeing the best winter for snowfall in five years.
