This is a great stretch of weather for the region, and it continues as we head into the weekend. Snow showers in the mix today for the eastern Great Lakes and parts of western New York state today, with the system moving into New England by evening. As this system heads out, another one is right on its heels for Friday and another is due in on Sunday. The Northeast should see nice dumps through the weekend. Highs from the mid 20's to the mid 50's.
Snow showers in the mix for the Plains, Ohio Valley and the upper portions of the region this afternoon and into the evening. While this event does not appear to be major, the potential for gusty winds could cause issues with travel. Make sure to check on conditions before you head to the resort. Things stay chilly today, with highs from the single digits in the plains to the mid 30's further east.
