Springtime can be a lot of fun at Boyne Mountain. Ski and ride when you want, or splash when you want. You have the best of both worlds at the mountain. It may not be beachside, but with Avalanche Bay Waterpark attached to the Grand Mountain Lodge at the base of the ski hill it's darn close. Ski and ride in the morning when the slopes are firm and freshly groomed and head to the waterpark in the afternoon when the slopes start to get slushy.
The Ski and Splash Combo Package is available through the end of the month and starts at just $120 per person. It includes your lift ticket, Avalanche Bay admission pass, and hotel lodging at the Mountain. It's the perfect solution for families that couldn't decide between hitting the slopes or the beach for spring vacation.
Boyne also is offering great ski week packages through March that start at $529 per person; juniors 9-12 $205, and kids under eight ski and sleep for free. The package includes Sunday through Thursday nights lodging, three meals per day, five days worth of lift tickets, and lessons for everyone ages 13 and up. Youngsters 9-12 don't receive lessons. The package is pretty inclusive and one of the best ski week packages that I've seen in the Heartland for a spring break.
You can log onto Boyne's site to check out the details and book a reservation.
