New Belgium Brewery is bringing back its on-mountain Scavenger Hunt series. This is a day to don your best costume, chase chickens, search for bigfoot, and answer some ridiculous riddles all while skiing, raising money for a great local nonprofit, and bonding with your friends - or the person you meet in the check-in line and decide to sign up as a team.

Get a buddy or six, bring $10 and your ski pass, or purchase a lift ticket, and join the fleet of New Belgium characters on the slopes at Taos for a Scavenger Hunt like no other.

Check in for the Taos March 16, 2009, event begins at 9 a.m. Look for the New Belgium tent located on the main deck below the Martini Bar at the base of Chair #5. The Hunt starts at 10 a.m. sharp and runs until 3 p.m. A crew of costumed mischief makers will be awaiting your challenge.

Calibrate your costume, whet your palette, polish your toolbox, and season your brain. Prizes aren't just awarded to the top place teams. Clink New Belgium at the Beerlicious Post Party once the Hunt ends. The $10 participant fee goes to FIT (Field Institute of Taos).There will be prize giveaways and drink specials all day long.
