"We're not changing the pricing on our season passes," said Jiminy Peak's Betsy Strickler.

Plus, she said, buy them in March and use them for the rest of this season as well.

Adult Unimited Passes cost $659 until June 15, $740 until Oct. 15, and $849 thereafter. Teen Passes cost $569, $654, and $739. Junior Passes are $439, $499, $569. Toddler Passes are $189. Sunday-Friday/Twilight 6/7 Passes are $389, $484, $579. Midweek/Twilight 5/7 Passes are $329, $394, $459.

Monday-Friday, Non-Holiday 5/0 Passess are $299, $359, $419.

Twilight Passes are $229, $279, $329.

Jiminy Peak explains the restrictions on their Web site.

Meanwhile, the venerable Berkshire area is enjoying its best-ever season.

"We're ahead of last year, about 11.5 percent ahead of last year at this time, and last year was a record breaker," Strickler said. "Last year was our best year ever, with 255,000 skier visits."

Why?

"With the economy, we've been really aggressive in our promotions, coming up with a stream of offers and opportunities. We're also getting people who say normally I go out West for Christmas or Presidents Week, but this year I came here instead.

"It shows that skiers no matter what are going to ski. They'll find a way. It's stress relief, family time, they're going to come out and ski," Strickler said.
