Andorra's Vallnord is offering exciting new features in its freestyle zones. The snow park and freestyle area in the Arcalis sector have been remodelled to include boxes, double draws, piped railings, and big jumps.

Situated at 2100 metres, the Arcalis Snow Park offers an area of more than 15,000 square metres in which to practice freestyle skiing and snowboarding. The park is suitable for experts and beginners and incorporates this year's new model in addition to more space. Some of the new models available in this dedicated freestyle space include boxes of all difficulties, double draws, double piped railings and rectangles, a big jump, and a five-metre table.

The Arinsal Freestyle Area stretches more than 40,000 square metres and, this year, features an FIS Half Pipe, a Big Jump Zone, the Rail Avenue, and the Junior Rails Zone. The Vallnord Press Office says: "Another of the big novelties is the opening in the Arinsal zone of a giant mattress to try out tricks and aerial acrobatics in total safety. 20 metres long and 10 metres wide, it is an ideal zone to improve and evolve in freestyle."

Vallnord is comprised of the ski areas of Pal-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalis. In total it offers 66 runs connected by 41 ski lifts and featuring 13 mountain restaurants.
