The two-week-long block party known as the Bud Light Spring Jam is about to descend on the Aspen-Snowmass area for the ninth consecutive season.

The festivities officially kick off March 20 with a Big Air Fridays ski and snowboard jam at Snowmass (there will be another Big Air event March 27). Entry fee is $20 and the event will take place on Fanny Hill.

Following the competition, head over to downtown Aspen, which will be hosting its annual streets Core Party the night of March 20.

The Spring Jam continues March 21 with a KickAspen Big Air show under the lights at the base of Aspen Mountain. Prize giveaways, a beer garden, and a DJ will help liven up the mood.

The Salomon Terrain Park Boot Camp will set up shop at Snowmass March 22-23 and March 28-29. This free event is open to any rider who wishes to learn how to safely ride a rail, hit a box, or throw a trick.

The Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series will keep things entertaining with free outdoor concerts at Snowmass March 22 and at Aspen Mountain March 27.

One of the Spring Jam highlights is sure to be the Schnee Tag event at Snowmass March 28. Teams of four are invited to build a craft that will slide down Fanny Hill and over a 75-by-20-foot pond. Prizes will be awarded to entries on distance flown and creativity of craft.
