Snowshoe is enjoying one of the best winters in its history, thanks to heavy natural snowfall and excellent snowmaking temperatures.
The resort recently opened its final slope, Lower Shay's, a double black diamond - the first time since 2006-07 that Lower Shay's has been open.
It's also the first season in the last four winters that the halfpipe has been open.
Both are a sign of just how good this winter is, thanks to great snowmaking conditions and natural snowfall of more than 11 feet.

Skiers and snowboarders will find 15 acres of expanded terrain at the Snowshoe area of the resort. Yew Pine is a half-mile long novice trail.
