Canyons Resort, Utah
February 28- March 1, 2015
Various temps and mountain conditions: 20s-30s, foggy and cloudy to whiteout in powder, dust on crust, ice and man-made.
What we Thought:
> Style: Steezy looking at its best for those of us who want a jacket that serves as both powder ready and street styled for a night out après ski. Less tapered than most women’s jackets, but I love that it’s roomy. I’ve received many complements on how great it looks on or off the hill.
> Comfort: In waterproof denim with black sleeves, this jacket sports a nice regular fit where I can wear it alone or add several layers to it. It comes stock with 80g insulation in the body and 60g in the sleeves, so it looks good and it’s warm without the bulk of a three-in-one.
> Performance: I love the attached hood that fits over a helmet for windy days and the attached powder skirt that snaps back into the jacket so I don’t look bulky if I don’t use the skirt. Comes with pit zips, lots of big military-style pockets and a mid-chest pass pocket outside the zipper so I don’t have to unzip to flash my pass. Warm and stylish, the only thing missing was the mesh in the pit zips.
