What we Thought:

> Style: On looks alone, the Patagonia Hybrid Down has become a ski-day necessity that also makes its way with me almost everywhere off-mountain as well. The stretch of the fabric makes for a dreamy fit and continuous compliments whether you're skiing, pounding a burger, out for drinks or all three at the same time.

> Comfort: Warm, soft and light enough to act as a base, mid or standalone layer at lunch, this versatile style was overlooked for Editors' Choice back in the fall, but tops our list now as a must-have, however you wear it.

> Performance: This barely there mid layer packs some serious warmth sans weight, particularly impressive considering all the zippered pockets—the chest of which happens to be the best cell phone spot we've come across yet.
