As Beaver Creek and Vail brace to host the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships (AWSC) coming up February 2–15, 2015, skiers, spectators and party animals from all over the globe will make their way to the Colorado high country for an event considered bigger than the Olympics in the world of ski racing.
Here's the race rundown so you don't miss a minute of the action from your favorite athletes. Almost all races will be held in Beaver Creek* with the corresponding medals ceremonies taking place in Vail at 6:30 p.m. each night.
February 3rd: Women's Super G 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
February 5th: Men's Super G 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
February 6th: Women's Downhill 11 a.m.–12:35 p.m.
February 7th: Men's Downhill 11 a.m.–12:55 p.m.
February 8th: Men's Alpine Combined (DH Run) 10–11:45 a.m.; (SL Run) 2:15–3:15 p.m.
February 9th: Women's Alpine Combined (DH Run) 10–11:35 a.m.; (SL Run) 2:15–3:15 p.m.
February 10th: Nations Team Event 2:15–4 p.m. (*held in Vail)
February 12th: Women's Giant Slalom Run 1 10:15 a.m.–12:20 p.m.; Run 2 2:15–3:45 p.m.
