The seventh annual Tailgate Alaska plunges into AK powder this Friday, March 28, for 10 days of big-mountain skiing and base festivities at Alaska's Chugach Mountain Range, where a "prolonged storm cycle completely reset our snow pack and created absolutely stellar heli skiing and snowboarding conditions," according to Josh Cooley of H20 Guides.

"Ski season is in full effect in Valdez," he adds, but you don't have to take Cooley's word for it. He sent photos, too.
