The biggest names in snowboard halfpipe and slopestyle will be at Vail Mountain, Mar. 3-8, as part of the Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships. The 32nd annual contest is a must-see event that’s packed with music, après and family friendly activities for everyone.
Back at Vail for its second year, spectators will be able to peep athletes competing by visiting the Golden Peak Terrain Park or by hanging out in the Vail Village and Lionshead, where mega-screens will be broadcasting the event live. In the village, the Après All Day Lounge will feature laid back action like a beer garden, live DJs, family activities and interactive sponsor booths throughout the day. A special Olympic athlete celebration will kick off the activities on Wednesday, Mar. 5, where confirmed U.S. Open competitors like Danny Davis, Kelly Clark, Mark McMorris, Jamie Anderson, Enni Rukajarvi and more will be recognized for their podium wins in Sochi.
A live webcast will be available online Mar. 5-8, and a live TV broadcast will air Mar. 7-8 in time for the finals.
