Washington’s Summit at Snoqualmie rolls out the carpet for Military Appreciation Weekend this month. Military personnel, past and present, plus their families can ski and snowboard with plenty of discounts March 21-23, 2014.

For starters, military families can get discounts on lift tickets and rentals. Lift tickets drop to $35 for adults instead of $66. Youth and senior lift tickets cost $25 instead of $46. Discounts on rentals run around $11-13 off.

Two special lesson packages are also available for $45 instead of $99—the More 2 Learn package and the Kids Club half day. Both packages include a beginner lift ticket, rental gear and lesson. Reservations are required by March 20 for the kids program. Call 425-434-6700.

Tubing is also discounted for military families over the weekend. A two-hour session costs $15 per person. Since tubing sells out, families should purchase the tickets in advance.

To get the discounts during Military Appreciation Weekend, military families need to show military ID. For Kids Club and tubing reservations, use the code "MILITARYLOVE." Discounts are also available on food and retail items.

Military personnel can also get discounts all winter long on season passes, lift tickets, beginners lessons and tubing.
