Wildcat is looking for 40 skiers and snowboarders able and willing to ski 100,000 feet of vertical in one day to help a good cause.

Register, pay the $65 fee ($35 for season pass holders), line up pledges, and ski or ride during the benefit March 2.

Participants get to feel good, test their mettle, and cut the lift line at the Wildcat Express, a high-speed summit quad.

Last year, 25 of the 28 people who took part completed at least 48 runs on Lynx, which drops more than 2,100 feet in vertical from the summit.

They raised about $30,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire.

Fundraisers also receive a lift ticket voucher for another day this season, light breakfast and lunch, snacks and refreshments during the event, and prizes at an awards pasta dinner afterwards.

All ages and disciplines are welcome to participate, but the event is limited to 40 participants each with a minimum $250 in pledge donations to Make-A-Wish.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire explains its mission as helping is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Make-A-Wish strives to provide children with the hope for better times, the strength for the tough times and the joy to experience the present.
