Three of the Northern Rockies big destination resorts have partnered with Alaska Airlines for a skier deal. By flying Alaska Airlines, skiers and snowboarders can get a free lift ticket for Big Sky, Whitefish or Sun Valley.
For Big Sky, fly on Alaska Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and you can ski free for one day on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Save your boarding pass, as you’ll need it for verification to get the ticket. You also need to stay in a Big Sky Central Reservations Lodging property.
For Whitefish, book lodging through Whitefish Mountain Resort Lodging to get a free lift ticket. You must book a minimum of two nights and two days. Save your Alaska boarding pass for verification to get the third day of skiing free. Ask about restrictions when booking.
Sun Valley offers two deals for Alaska fliers, depending on the origin of the flight. Skiers coming from Seattle can trade in their boarding pass to ski free on the arrival day, then get a free two-hour group lesson the next day. Skiers arriving from Los Angeles can swap their boarding pass the next day for free demo rentals or a free two-hour group lesson.
