The Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce came up with this giveaway, bless their little hearts, because the grand prize winner gets a week of lodging, meals, and skiing in the heart of Vermont.

Even better, the chamber talked Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Ole's X-C Center, five eateries, a spa, and a florist into going along with the deal.

There's one grand prize in this drawing, worth about $6,000, and it's good for two people.

It includes Cat skiing at Sugarbush; seven nights in a luxury condo at Clay Brook at Sugarbush; a six-day Ski the Valley Pass good at Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Ole's Cross-Country Ski Center; high-end demos; four exclusive dinners at Timbers, Millbrook Restaurant, Terra Tossa Ristorante, and American Flatbread; a lunch at The Warren Store; a fresh bouquet from Blue Toad Florist; a 60-minute couples massage at Mad River Massage; and a guided nature hike with a naturalist in alpine terrain. Tax, tip, and alcohol are extra at dinner.

There's also a first prize, worth about $460, which yields two nights in the Yellow Farmhouse Inn in Waitsfield and two, two-day Ski the Valley Passes.

There also are five second prizes, each worth $176, which give the winners a pair of two-day, mid-week Ski the Valley Passes.

All prizes must be taken between March 20 and 27. Winners are responsible for taxes, tips, and alcohol.

Oh yes, to win, click and fill in the form. The deadline to enter is midnight March 8. The drawing will be held March 9.
