Marry Me & Ski for Free is the rallying cry on Valentine’s Day at Loveland . Couples are invited to participate in the 23rd Annual Mountaintop Matrimony. You can get hitched for real or renew your vows. Those who are actually getting married must bring a valid Colorado marriage license. You can get a License through Clear Creek County.
The mass wedding starts at noon outside the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at 12,050 feet in elevation. The cabin is at the top of Chair #2 at Loveland. Be there by 11:30. The chairlift ride takes about 12 minutes. Participants are encouraged to dress in ski wedding attire.
Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down in order to attend the ceremony. Transportation is not provided to non-skiers or snowboarders.
The After Party starts around 1:30 at the base of Loveland. It includes cake, music and prizes. Pre-register to get two-for-one lift tickets on the day of the event.
