But this particular Grand Prix is more than just eye candy: it’s the final qualifying event for the 2014 Winter Olympics, where freeskiing (slopestyle and halfpipe) will make its worldwide debut.

Sneak a peek at athletes like Tom Wallisch, Bobby Brown, Nick Goepper, David Wise, Devin Logan and Jen Hudak, who are all are expected to compete. Winners for both slopestyle and halfpipe events will be crowned on the 17th and 18th; but it’s the 18th that will mark the official celebration for the freeskiers who will represent the United States in the Olympics.

The entire event is free and open to the public, and will be a prime opportunity for fans to get a look at the athletes who will be competing in Sochi, Russia. Following the naming ceremony, Park City Resort will host a free on-mountain concert by O.A.R.
