A cool start Friday in the region turns into a bit of a warm up as the day goes on, with some areas getting into the mid 30's. A slight chance of rain showers comes into the mix on Saturday and another system arrives on Sunday bring cooler temps back along with the chance for new powder. Look for highs over the weekend from the mid 20's to the mid 40's.
The warm spell that brought spring like conditions to the West arrives in the region on Friday, bringing quite a warm up; the plains could see temps in the mid 60's, while those further north could get into the low 40's. This trend continues through late Saturday, then the reality of winter returns with temps dipping into the low 20's and the chance of snow for the northern portions of the region.
A busy Friday for the region, as rain and mountain snow dominate the West coast. This trend continues through Saturday evening as systems move East bringing heavy snow to the Rockies, Utah and the Four Corners region. Another system is due in from the Pacific on Sunday and will bring more rain and mountain snow to Washington, Oregon and California.
