Little Switzerland ski area, located in Slinger, Wis., just a 30-minute drive from both Fond Du Lac and Milwaukee, is in its second season of new ownership after being closed for five years and is offering a slew of daily specials for its target audience: Badger State families.
Now owned by the same family members who also run Wisconsin’s Nordic Mountain, two-day lift tickets are $60 and can be used anytime, including the upcoming holidays, saving you $20 over the normal single day weekend rate of $40. The catch: they’re good for two consecutive days only.
Rent skis for two days for just $50, a 25 percent savings over the normal $33 daily rate. Head to play at Little Switz after work or school and hook up with one of its nightly specials, which vary daily, but the price doesn’t: ride the lifts with rental skis or a board for just $19 each. Monday evenings, take a friend and split two lift tickets for just $30, a 68 percent savings. Fridays, seniors ski or ride for $19 during the day.
Warm up on the front, then take on the new Holy Switz run, its steepest, and relax after in the renovated lodge.
