As if you needed another reason that it’s good to be a kid, we’ll give you one anyway: free skiing and snowboarding at 14 resorts. The 5th and 6th Grade Passport program returns to Ski Utah, allowing school-aged kids to ski or snowboard for free at all 14 resorts in Utah. Even better: you don’t have to be a Utah resident to pony up to one of the best deals in the industry.
The 5th Grade Passport includes three free lift tickets at each of Utah’s 14 resorts this season (that’s 42 days!), while the 6th Grade Passport includes one day at each resort. Additional perks, like ski or snowboard rental discounts and reduced lesson rates, are loaded onto each Passport. There is a $30 processing fee ($40 after Jan. 31, 2014) and there are a few limitations (like, um, being a 5th or 6th grader), but it’s a small price to pay.
For parents wanting to accompany their kids on a tour de Utah, the Yeti Pass offers adults one day of skiing or riding at every Utah resort for $599.
