Many ski areas charge adult lift ticket rates for college students. But Canada Olympic Park in Calgary gives college students a break on daily lift tickets all winter.

The weekday rate for college students, up to age 24, is $40 for a full-day lift ticket, $5 less than the adult lift ticket. The weekday ticket is valid 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The four-hour ticket weekday is also reduced for college students. It costs $36 instead of the $40 charged to non-students 18 years and older.

On weekends, college students can ski a full day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for $46 instead of $50. The four-hour weekend lift ticket costs $40 instead of $46.

To get the college rates, students must show a photo ID from an accredited university or college. College rates are available all season at the ticket window.
