DURANGO, Colo. – August 28, 2013 - Purgatory’s 2013-2014 season passes are on sale now through Saturday, September 14, providing as much as $200 savings over in-season prices. Season pass holders receive unlimited skiing and riding with no blackout dates at Purgatory and can ski free at other participating resorts.  Plus, Season pass holders enjoy other discounts and new benefits provided by Durango-area partners.   

Season pass holders receive benefits at other resorts, including three free days at Taos, New Mexico; Loveland, Sunlight, Powderhorn, and Monarch in Colorado and Powder Mountain and Brian Head in Utah.  Other benefits include half-price days at Crested Butte, Powderhorn, Alta and Arizona Snowbowl.  Some black-out dates may apply for other resorts. Season pass holders receive discounts at Durango Mountain Resort restaurants, SnowMonster’s Den childcare facility and Ski and Ride School.

NEW THIS YEAR: Durango Mountain Resort is proud to announce new benefits for 2013/2014 season pass holders called “Purgatory Perks.” This benefit provides season pass holders with perks at some of Durango’s favorite local establishments, including Zia Taqueria, Star Liquors, Carver Brewing, Steaming Bean, Trimble Spa & Hot Springs, Lost Dog and Mild to Wild. Season pass holders may also bring a friend to Purgatory and receive $65 lift tickets.  Window rates for lift tickets are adults $77; young adults $62; children $46; seniors $66; and super seniors $30.

Durango Mountain Resort is once again offering season pass buyers the option of purchasing insurance through Travel Guard for only 6 percent of the cost of the pass.  This optional service provides pass holders with opportunities for refunds should they be injured, lose their job, be relocated, deployed for military service, and more when the insurance is purchased for that season pass.  Durango Mountain Resort will not issue any refunds under any circumstances as Travel Guard manages this program on behalf of Durango Mountain Resort.  For more information, log on to www.skipurg.com/seasonpass.
