Good for family-centered facilities, and Santa.
Heading up in to the Arctic Circle where temperatures regularly dip into double digits below zero and there’s near 24-hour darkness in early winter may not seem the smartest idea for a family with young children. But perhaps countering these negatives: the facilities at Levi are great.
Learning to ski here can also be combined with the most exciting activity possible for any young child (and many parents)—a trip to meet Santa Claus and Rudolf at their home.
There’s everything here for a fun family holiday, including a dog sledding adventure for all ages, and on the slopes there’s an excellent learning area where the ski school takes children from age four, making sure they're bundled and warm. The main Hotel Levitunturi by the slopes has lots of children's play facilities and recently opened an indoor water park with 17 pools.
