As temperatures hover above freezing level and the snowpack turns to snowmelt, just remember: it’s never too early to start thinking of powder turns. Skiers and snowboarders looking to get through the summer without losing their sanity will be relieved to know that 2013/2014 season passes are now on sale at Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort.

Purchase your pass before April 27 for $619 (adults) and save $300. The winter pass provides unlimited skiing and riding (read: no blackout dates) and includes up to three free days at each partner resort next season, including Taos, Powder Mountain, Brian Head, Loveland, Sunlight, Powderhorn and Monarch Mountain. Passholders will also receive half-price lift tickets at Alta, Crested Butte and Arizona Snowbowl. If you plan on sticking closer to home, invite friends and family to cruise the hill with up to five reduced-price lift tickets per season. Additionally, passholders will receive discounts on food, retail purchases, childcare and ski school at Durango Resort and discounts on restaurants and activities around the town of Durango.

By purchasing your pass before April 27, you’ll also gain access to all of Durango Resort’s 2013 summer activities, including the alpine slide, mini golf, mountain bike trails and lift rides, ropes course, bungee trampoline, mechanical bull and climbing wall.

Season passes start at $409 for seniors (ages 65-79), $339 for young adults (ages 13-17) and $279 for children (ages 6-12) before April 27. Prices go up beginning on April 28.
