Pennsylvania skiers and riders: don't hang up your gear for the season just yet! Seven Springs Mountain Resort, is still going strong. This season, the resort has received more than 140 inches of snow – the latest snowstorm brought almost two feet, totaling nearly 50 inches of snow in March alone. With such good conditions left to offer guests, the resort has opted to extend their season through April 7.

"We are pleased to offer this opportunity for our passholders, homeowners and guests to experience skiing and snowboarding this late in the season," said Chief Executive Officer Eric Mauck. "Our customer base continues to be one of the most passionate in the country and while we were not expecting to remain open in April, our team did an outstanding job to allow us to do so and continue to be the premier resort on the East Coast."

Skiing and riding operations continue on more than 37 slopes and trails, offering more than 70 terrain park features for freestyle skiers and riders to enjoy with a soft surface for practicing new tricks in the late-season. Hours of operation will be 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday. Hours for next weekend will be announced at a later time.

The resort is also making overnights affordable by offering a few extended winter lodging packages including their Rails to Rails and Winter Memories (available through April 4) and the Phil's a Liar! package – unlimited skiing and snowboarding from the time you arrive until close the day you depart, one night’s lodging in the Main Lodge, breakfast the next morning, and access to the indoor swimming pool and fitness center – starting at $77 per person. Based on double occupancy. Available until April 6, 2013.

Season passes for 2013-2014 are now available with individual regular passes starting at $469. Skiers and snowboarders who join the Seven Springs season passholder family for the first time will get to ski the remainder of the season for free. Plus, Seven Springs season passholders receive monthly perks and other year-round benefits.
