Big White Resort and Silver Star Mountain Resort are rolling out free skiing for visitors in April. The deals give skiers and snowboarders a chance to enjoy the slopes and the final events of the season.
The pair of British Columbia resorts are located in the Okanagan about two hours apart. You can access them via flights into Kelowna.
The free skiing offer is good for Canadian or U.S. residents in April. But it does require spending the night at the resorts.
At Big White, room rates in April start at $134 per night based on double occupancy in select properties. Rates include two free lift tickets. Options for accommodations include hotel rooms and one- or two-bedroom condos. The Ski free deal is also available for quad occupancy in larger condos and vacation homes with two to four bedrooms.
Big White plans to operate daily through April 14. Closing weekend brings on three days of outdoor barbecues and the annual Dummy Downhill.
At Silver Star, the free skiing deal is available in April with bookings at select lodging properties. Silver Star has a variety of properties from budget to high end.
Silver Star’s final day of the season is scheduled for April 7. It’s a celebration with Hawaiian shirts and the annual Dummy Gelande.
A minimum of two nights of lodging are required to get the ski free deals at either resort.
