With 92 runs spread over 1,000 acres, Minnesota’s Lutsen Mountain is looking forward to a long spring ski season running at least through mid-April, with some great deals accompanied by some cool events nearly every weekend through its projected April 14 close.
Stay and ski three or four nights over any weekend through April 7, get one night lodging and skiing free, from $180 per person, quad occupancy.

The DuLutsen North of North Music & Ski Festival March 22-25 showcases Duluth’s finest musicians at the resort’s Papa Charlie’s Tavern. Scope out the itinerary here. Some acts are free, while advance online-only tickets for others are just $8 at that same site. Combine listening with a lift and lodging package starting at just $127 per person, quad occupancy.

The resort’s annual spring carnival party is Easter weekend, March 30. The day following the fun, head out on Easter Sunday to take an early morning gondola ride to the top of Moose Mountain for a unique Sunday service overlooking Lake Superior. Afterwards, make first tracks down, then have fun with the kids starting immediately after with an Easter egg hunt on all four mountaintops starting at 9 a.m.
In April, take advantage of the special Mountain Meltdown deal April 13-14, with two tickets for the price of one in this special online deal, with five bands daily outside and music Saturday. Lutsen is open daily through April 7.
