Schweitzer Mountain Resort rolled out sales on its spring pass in early March. The pass benefits Sandpoint and Spokane locals as well as spring visitors to the Idaho resort.

The Spring Fling Pass costs $99 for all ages. With ticket window prices at $68 for adults, $58 for college students, and $50 for juniors, visitors heading to Schweitzer for several days of spring break skiing or riding can use it, too. At the $99 rate, the Spring Fling Pass pays for itself in two days of use.

The pass is valid for skiing or riding starting March 11. It can be used every day until closing, which is usually the first or second weekend in April, pending snow conditions.

In addition to the low price point, purchasers of the Spring Fling Pass can use it to get discounts. It can be used for 10 percent off purchases on Schweitzer’s food, drink, lessons, retail, and lodging. The $99 value of the pass can be applied toward a discount on a season pass for 2013-14.

The pass can also be used as a gift card with a 10 percent bonus added to the cash loaded on it. Schweitzer will add $10 for every $100 put on the pass.
