Jam bands and ski towns go hand-in-hand, and this weekend’s FestEVOL at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is no exception. On Saturday, March 9, FestEVOL brings the musical talent of three bands to the resort’s village area for an unforgettable weekend in the Rocky Mountains.

Harmonica rocker and special guest John Popper from Blues Traveler will be playing alongside Twiddle, a reggae-funk quartet from Vermont, before the Rastafarian sounds of The Wailers take to the stage.

FestEVOL kicks off at 1:45 p.m. with a half-hour set from Mine Control, followed by Twiddle at 2:30 p.m. and The Wailers at 4:15 p.m.

Online ticket sales will be available through Friday, March 8. General admission tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of show. VIP tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door and include access to the Butte 66 deck, a VIP area near the front of the stage, food and three drink tickets. Children ages 6 and under are free if accompanied by a paying adult.

Festival-goers can save a few bucks and stop by any Crested Butte Resort restaurant, including Butte 66, 9380, Jefe’s, Woodstone Grille, Paradise Warming House or Uley’s Cabin, to receive $5 off the price of a ticket with the purchase of food. Or purchase general admission tickets and lodging together and save 25 percent. Click here to book accommodations through Crested Butte Vacations or call 800-810-7669.
