Camelback Mountain Resort has a couple of deals that offer savings on learn-to-ski-and-ride packages, and on lift tickets.
The Explorer Card costs $99 and consists of two Beginner Packages and one All Mountain package, loaded onto a PVC Card. Purchase this card at Camelback's Guest Services Desk or online. Each beginner package consists of a restricted lift ticket valid in the two beginner areas (Sunbowl and Coolmoor), rentals (ski or snowboard), and a group lesson. It is designed for first-time skiers or riders, and offers a deal on getting into the sport.
The New CamelCard costs $49 and gives users 50 percent discounts on Open-to-Close or Night lift tickets midweek non-holidays and 25 percent off tickets on weekends and holidays. Every third ticket is free.
Both cards are non-transferable and can only be used by purchaser, once each day.
Camelback Mountain, in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, has a 800-foot vertical. You'll find 33 trails, all of which are lighted for nighttime skiing. Seventeen lifts, including two high-speed detachable quads, three triples, seven doubles, SunKid Surface lift, and four tubing lifts, serve the 160 acres of terrain. The mountain has 100 percent snowmaking. Want a change from skiing or boarding? Try out their Snowtubing Park.
