Higher education takes on a whole new meaning at altitude, especially when there’s free skiing and riding involved.

Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., perched at 6,872 feet above sea level and surrounded by the rugged peaks of the San Juan and La Plata mountains, is inviting all potential undergrads to visit the school for a campus tour and get a taste of what the next four years of higher education has in store – on and off campus. Schedule a campus tour at Fort Lewis College and receive a free lift ticket to Purgatory at Durango Mountain, allowing you to explore your favorite extracurricular activities after a hard day of hitting the books.

Just don’t be too bummed when the whole family wants to tag along for your tour; up to four companions will receive half-price lift tickets at Purgatory at Durango when you schedule a visit.

Campus tours are available every weekday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Contact the school a week ahead of your visit, and you’ll be able to meet with a professor in your field of interest and sit in on a class.
