Many Seattle area skiers make the long haul to and from Crystal Mountain Resort in a day. But you can pack in back-to-back days of skiing by spending the night in one of the Crystal Mountain Hotels. The group of hotels is offering late season packages targeting spring skiers and riders.
Crystal Mountain Hotels operate three lodges at the base of Crystal Mountain Resort. The Bavarian-style Alpine Inn, home to the Snorting Elk bar and fine dining Alpine Inn Restaurant, sits closest to the Mt. Rainier Gondola. The more contemporary Quicksilver Lodge features loft rooms that work well for families. The Village Inn is a small, basic hotel.
Two late season packages are available with the Crystal Mountain Hotels.
The midweek package is for skiers and snowboarders who want to ski on less crowded days. It is available Sunday through Thursday nights from March 10 through April 18, 2013. The package includes lift tickets, lodging, and breakfast.
For one person, the package starts at $179 per night. For two people, it starts at $259 per night. Families can buy a package that starts at $289 per night.
Another version of the package is available on Friday and Saturday nights from March 10 through April 20, 2013. The starting rates for packages are the same as the midweek rates for one or two people, but the family rate starts at $369.
