If you can sneak away for some midweek fun, you won’t believe the deal that West Michigan’s Caberfae Peaks is offering.
The resort just west of Cadillac in northwest Lower Michigan has just lowered its Wednesday-only lift ticket price to $7.50, a cost not seen probably since the days of leather bindings and elephant hide boots. The online deal is “on” now through at least March 13. Normal lift tickets are $44 for adults.
Head for Caberfae’s 34 runs and 485 feet of vertical on Friday, March 8, ski or ride all day until 10 p.m. and pay just $8 for a lift ticket and $8 for rental, using an online-only coupon.
Come up and stay overnight Monday through Thursday and pay just $69 per person, per night. That stay includes two lift tickets per adult, so in effect, you stay for about $25 each. Bring the kids (17 and under), and they stay and ski free with you.
There are lots of other deals, from stays to lift tickets, at its website here, including, ski and ride out the rest of the season on weekends for just $99, a 34 percent savings.
