With February drawing to a close, the best month of skiing and riding is just winding up. Why the best? Depends on who you ask. Hot-doggers would say it's the warming temps – that we're finally able to ween ourselves of the balaclavas and fleece neck liners. Storm chasers who keep a snowfall tally throughout the season (and over the years) know that March is, on average, the snowiest month of the year, which means there could be plenty more powder days before old man winter hangs it up for the season. In either event, Vermont's Sugarbush Resort wants you to be ready to hit the mountain without restriction when nature (of one variety or another) beckons you there.

For just $149, the Mt. Ellen March Pack comes loaded with four premium lift tickets, valid any day during the month of March. That's a savings of 46 percent or $127 off the full rack rate for four days. The catch, these tickets are only for sale until Feb. 28, so you better act fast if you want to save on next month's turns. Limit two March Packs per person.

Got friends or family who might want a cheap day on the hill? Mt. Ellen March Pack tickets are fully transferable so pick them up one at a time if you're flying solo or all at once to spread around to your closest friends . . . or complete strangers who are sure to befriend you afterwards. Feeling really generous? Mt. Ellen March Packs can also be gifted. It's hard to think of a better way to say "Happy Spring", so don't waste your time thinking – just grab a March Pack today.
