Families with children, or parents who work in the education field, are often forced to plan their group outings around the academic calendar breaks. The perk for those who aren't enrolled or working in education, however, is that this provides a welcome excuse to bail out of work for a week at the mountain, or a family ski trip out of state. Mont Tremblant offers an affordable escape for slope-bound families looking to spend their vacation week(s) bonding over snow.
When parents book a two-night (or more) stay at a participating lodging partner between Feb. 15 and March 15, 2013 and combine it with any lift ticket purchase they can enjoy instant discounts of 15 percent – plus big savings on the kids' lift tickets for ages 6-17. Five days of skiing can be purchased for just $119 only (Monday to Friday). Must be purchased for consecutive days of skiing or riding, reservations must be made 48 hours in advance. Based on a two-night stay minimum.
More great savings available during the February school break:
- Latitude Card holders can get 20 percent off February break daily rack rates when they purchase multi-day tickets. Lock in two to seven days or skiing for $60.80 per day, per adult.
- Multi-day equipment rental at $20 per day for kids 17 and under. Complete ski and snowboard equipment, helmet included. Valid from Febr. 25 to March 15, 2013.
- From Feb. 18 to 21 and from March 11 to 14, kids can take four-day group lessons, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., including supervised lunch break and lunch box. End the week with a fun race and a farewell dinner on Thursday night. A group photo will also be offered to each participant.
Can't make it a week-long affair? The savings still pay off when you purchase two or more consecutive days on the mountain. Rates vary by week with the lowest rates available following President's Week (after Feb. 22).
