Just because school is out for vacation, doesn't mean the learning has to end. The Nashoba Valley ski school offers a perfect outdoor classroom for kids who want to develop their skills on the mountain. They say practice makes perfect, and back-to-back days on snow gives kids the ideal setting to put theory into practice and develop a passion for the sport. When Massachusetts school's let out for February vacation, drop them off at the mountain and save big on an education they'll carry with them the rest of their lives.

For $185, skiers and riders ages 5 and up can be enrolled in the Nashoba Valley ski school for any three days of the week. The package includes an all-day lift ticket and a one-hour group lesson at 10:15 am or 12:00 noon (one lesson per person per day). Rental packages may be added on for an additional $75. Lesson program valid during vacation week: Feb. 18-24, 2013.

Parents, are the kids complaining about you keeping up on the mountain? Don't worry, you can enroll yourself for the three-day lesson package and get confident enough to keep up with the little guys. And with nearly 30 inches of snowfall brought to the Valley during Winter Storm Nemo, the learning area is sure to be soft and more forgiving than your kids will be if you don't step it up.
