As skiers and riders head into the backcountry more frequently, outerwear manufacturers have been forced to keep up. There were many new products at the SIA (Snowsports Industry of America) Snow Show in Denver, Colo. from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3, all aimed at keeping backcountry travelers safe and aware when heading into the unmaintained wildnerness. We put together a photo gallery of our favorite backcountry gear for next season from SIA 2013.
