Several ski resorts sell e-vouchers through Costco, which means that you can buy the lift tickets at the last minute. After purchasing, the vouchers are emailed to you. You print them out and take them to the resort to cash in for lift tickets.
Oregon’s Mt. Hood Ski Bowl sells an e-voucher that is good for three adult lift tickets for anyone aged 13 to 64 years old. It costs $110. The three tickets can be used by three different people or the same person on three different days. They are also valid for all day and night skiing once exchanged for lift tickets at the resort.
Mt. Hood Meadows sells a learning package with lift tickets, lessons, and rental equipment for first-time skiers or snowboarders. The package, which costs $100, covers three days on the mountain for ages 13 and older.
Two British Columbia resorts also sell discounted lift tickets through Costco online. Red Mountain has two adult lift tickets for $90. Big White sells two adult lift tickets for $130. Both tickets may be used by the same person or two different skiers.
Costco also carries a discounted adult two-day lift ticket for $105 for Alyeska Resort in Alaska. You’ll need to order these in advance to allow for shipping, which costs an additional $4.
All Costco lift tickets must be used during the 2012-13 ski season. Check the fine print on each resort for closing dates or deadlines on Costco ticket use.
