The kids will have a ball on the slopes at Copper this winter, but not just with a board, or pair of skis under their feet. The tubing hill at Copper has been a huge hit for a long time. You’ll scream yourself silly and so will the kids. Now, Copper is offering a chance to get some quality time on the tubing hill.

Book your family vacation and you can get two free pancake breakfasts. Hit the slopes, and then spend your afternoon tubing. Kids can do this for free with the purchase of an adult two-day Secret! Pass. This pass is called a Bolt On which is something Copper offers for extra perks. “The Secret! Pass is an add-on to a regular lift ticket and it allows you to cut the line,” according to Copper’s PR Coordinator, Stephanie Sweeney.

These add-ons change over the years. The pancake breakfast just started at the beginning of 2013. Another new one is for lodging. “We’re also doing a great deal on five-night, two-bedroom stays between Feb. 15 and March 23 for 50 percent off in order to give the families on Spring Break a little more room to spread out. All of the tickets purchased in conjunction with our lodging package include the Secret! Pass which allows you to skip the lift lines, which is an extra $20 value each day per ticket,” says Austyn Williams, also with the Copper Mountain PR department.

The tubing hill has four lanes and is in the East Village at the base of the Super Bee Lift. It is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. six days a week (closed Wednesdays).

The pancake breakfast is at Jack’s in Center Village, where it is available every day. It is not a buffet but a cafeteria-style dining environment.

The small print is on Copper’s website. The deals are based on at least three nights of lodging, or five nights for some better breaks on the price. Jack’s stops flipping pancakes on closing day, April 14.
