Women of Skiing: 10 Reasons We Love Caroline Gleich

25th January 2013 | OnTheSnow Staff

Always looking for new opportunities, Caroline has a small pop up shop called C Wild located inside of Unhinged in Sugarhouse, Salt Lake City. She stocks it with merchandise she finds during her travels. Like the beanie she's wearing here which was picked up during a trip to Sun Valley, Idaho, from the Gold Mine, a classic ski thrift shop.

Maybe you've seen Caroline. She was probably skinning past you or cutting a perfect turn on a slope below you as you wondered if you really wanted to commit. However don't expect to find her at a bar-- she's probably doing yoga or working on her small retail business in Salt Lake City.

A passion for skiing that started at 18 months old in Minnesota, has now become a career in the ski industry, including Warren Miller film segments, national magazine covers and partnerships with top gear manufactures like Patagonia outerwear and Nordica skis. So why should you care? Because there's probably only a handful of women in Utah who ski as much and are as passionate about snow as Caroline, and she's just getting started.
