Woodward Tahoe is located at Boreal Mountain Resort in Soda Springs near Lake Tahoe and offers the only on-snow summer camp in California along with one of the best indoor training facilities in the country. They have summer camps for skiing, snowboarding, BMX, skateboarding, cheerleading and digital media. Kids and teens (aged 7-20) are encouraged to partake in the camps, and anyone 18 and over are welcome to join the adult camp week. Campers have the pleasure of skiing and boarding on a private park filled with jumps, rails and a 22-foot halfpipe, as well as learn tricks in their fully equipped training facility called The Bunker, which is filled with foam pits, trampolines, skate parks and more.
The week-long on-snow camps start June 16 and run until July 13. Further off-snow camps continue until Aug.17.
Each week, campers will be alongside visiting pros straight from the magazines, such as Tanner Hall, Will Wesson, Mike Hornbeck who've visited in the past. Top pros and instructors will help campers dial in their tricks both on and off the mountain fit for all ability levels.
Throughout the weeks campers can compete in fun activities for various prizes from the many camp sponsors. Campers are housed with others around the same age and sport in dorm-style housing with counselors available day and night.
